Notes: Oral Roberts is playing seven games this season against teams that reached the NCAA Tournament last season. Here comes the next one.
ORU hits the road for a Wednesday game against Arkansas-Little Rock, which won the Sun Belt Conference Tournament last season and was beaten in the first round of the NCAA Tournament by Delaware.
Taylor Gault led UALR in scoring and steals as a collegiate rookie last season and was selected the Sun Belt's freshman of the year. She scored 33 points against Tulsa this season and is averaging decimal points above 21 points a game, just like ORU senior Kevi Luper.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a lopsided (80-57) homecourt loss to Arkansas. The bright spot was a career-best performance by Bernadett Balla. The 6-foot-2 sophomore from Hungary scored 26 points, hitting 7-of-15 field goal attempts and 12-of-13 free throws. She matched her previous career high of 18 points in the first half.
