A man shot in the shoulder early Thursday has provided no information about the assault to police, officers said.

Emergency dispatchers were alerted to a shooting victim located in the area of 41st Street and Harvard Avenue around 12:35 a.m., said Tulsa Police Sgt. Cathy Reynolds.

Officers were initially unable to locate the victim but later found him a mile and a half away at the Whataburger restaurant, 5726 E. 41st St., she said.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the left shoulder that was not life threatening. He was transported to St. John Medical Center, Reynolds said.

The victim was uncooperative and refused to give police details regarding a possible suspect or motive, she said.
