WAGONER – A Beggs man was killed in an apparent alcohol-related motorcycle crash, troopers said.
Alan Hogue, 38, was pronounced dead at Wagoner City Hospital after a wreck on Wagoner County Road 760 that occurred just before 12:30 a.m., according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol release.
Hogue was driving a 2004 Yamaha dirt bike west in the eastbound lanes two miles east of Oklahoma 16 when a 2008 Ford pickup driven by Benjamin Haff, 30, struck the bike in a head-on collision, troopers said.
Hogue was not wearing a helmet and smelled of alcohol, according to the report.
Haff refused treatment at the scene.
