Oliveto Italian Bistro, 8922 S. Memorial Drive, has added fall-inspired, chalkboard specials to the menu.

The new items include a harvest salad, andouille sausage and shrimp Creole pasta, oven-roasted chicken picatta and pumpkin spice molten cake.

The salad ($8) is a combination of baby spinach and spring mix lettuces with Golden Delicious apples, dried cranberries, feta cheese and sugared walnuts tossed in a blueberry-pomegranate vinaigrette.

The Creole pasta ($10.50) is made with sauteed shrimp and andouille sausage tossed in a spicy Creole cream sauce with fire-roasted tomatoes, green onions and Asiago cheese, served with bow-tie pasta.

The chicken picatta ($13.75) is served with two oven-roasted chicken breasts served atop angel hair pasta, topped with artichoke hearts and a lemon-caper sauce.

For dessert, the cake ($7) features a pumpkin spice cake filled with gingered whipped cream and drizzled with a buttery caramel sauce. It is served with cinnamon-dusted vanilla ice cream.

Oliveto also has announced that children 12 and younger eat free with the purchase of an adult entree on Sundays after 4 p.m. Children's entrees include a drink and small scoop of vanilla ice cream.
