Thanksgiving arrives two days before Oklahoma State and Oklahoma collide in Norman.

"Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday because you get together as a family and you can eat (and) there are games on TV," OSU coach Mike Gundy said.

"And then I love Christmas, but when you do gifts, it takes up so much time and messes it all up because there is so much going on. Thanksgiving, you just get together and enjoy each other and eat. It has always been a special time for us."

Gundy's brother, Cale, is a running backs coach at OU. Mike Gundy moved his family into a new home in May, and he said Thanksgiving will be at his house this year.

Time management: Gundy was asked if it is difficult to budget time for Thanksgiving when you are in the midst of a busy week.

"There's only so much you can do," he said. "And, when you get to Thursday afternoon, for the most part ... our work is finished and it's just a matter of fine-tuning what we need to prepare for the game. And to a certain extent, if you can't get away for four hours you have probably got too much going on or you have got too many plays to start with."

Horned Frogs for homecoming: OSU unveiled its 2013 football schedule Tuesday and no game was immediately designated as homecoming. It was announced Wednesday that TCU will be the homecoming opponent. The Cowboys are scheduled to play the Horned Frogs on Oct. 19, 2013. TCU will play in Stillwater for a second consecutive season.

Giving thanks: Isaiah Anderson said his favorite Thanksgiving memory is watching football games with his grandfather. What's the senior receiver thankful for now?

"I'm thankful to be surrounded by the people we have on our team, especially with it being my last year," he said. "It's been a blast and I've enjoyed being around them."

Bedlam milestones: Most passing yards in a Bedlam game by an OSU player? Josh Fields threw for 357 yards in 2002. Most receiving yards? Rashaun Woods had 226 in the same game. Most catches? Justin Blackmon caught 12 balls last season, tying Woods' series record from 2002. Most rushing yards? Barry Sanders ran for 215 en route to the Heisman Trophy in 1988.

The longest OSU play from scrimmage in Bedlam came when Rusty Hilger threw a 77-yard pass to Malcolm Lewis in 1984. The longest running play came when Terry Miller went 72 yards in 1976.

Longest kickoff return? Bill Bredde covered 98 yards in 1952. Longest punt return? Mike Clark, 82 yards in 1989. Longest interception return? John Gattis took one back 82 yards in 1944.

The longest field goal by an OSU player in a Bedlam game came courtesy of Abby Daigle, who booted a 53-yarder in 1974.
