Oral Roberts women fall to UALR

Oral Roberts suffered its second loss in three days as the Golden Eagles fell to UALR, 79-47, in women's basketball on Wednesday evening in Little Rock, Ark.
The Trojans (3-1) outscored the Golden Eagles 51-18 in the first half, putting the game away before the second half.
Freshman Taylor Cooper had a strong second half and led ORU (2-2) with 14 points and nine rebounds. Kevi Luper added 12 points and Jaci Bigham chipped in 10 for the Golden Eagles, who shot 34 percent (18-for-53) from the floor.
UALR's Taylor Gault scored 25 points in the first half and finished with 31 for the game to lead all scorers.
It was UALR's first win over Oral Roberts in three meetings. The Golden Eagles travel next to Springfield, Mo., to face Missouri State 7 p.m. Nov. 29.
