Girl accidentally shot by brother in Pottawatomie County recovers from surgery

OKLAHOMA CITY - An 11-year-old girl accidentally shot in the stomach by her brother in Pottawatomie County on Wednesday night spent Thanksgiving in the hospital recovering from surgery, authorities said.
The names of the girl and her brother will not be released because of their ages, Pottawatomie County Undersheriff Travis Palmer said.
She was in critical condition following the surgery, Palmer said Thursday.
