Quarterfinal of the night

2A, No. 3 Hennessey (10-2) at No. 1 Vian (12-0): The Wolverines look to avenge last year's 18-7 quarterfinal loss at two-time defending state champion Hennessey. Vian averages 62.4 points while Hennessey allows 13.0 points per game. Vian has given up only 57 points this season, with 26 coming last week. Hennessey averages 39.9 points.

Numbers to know

334: Miles that Commerce will travel for its Class 2A quarterfinal at Frederick. It is the longest travel distance for any team this week.

48: Consecutive quarters that Vian has led at the end since losing in last year's quarterfinals.

47: Years since Stigler had won a second-round playoff game before defeating Berryhill last week.

32: Of the 44 teams remaining are district champions. In 5A, three of the four teams left did not win their districts. East Central is the only district champion still in the 5A playoffs.

Brady Bradbury, Adair: Senior quarterback-defensive back is a run-pass threat who has 2,825 total yards and accounted for 32 TDs. On defense, has 116 tackles and six interceptions.

Danny Burke, Metro Christian: Junior wideout-DB has 69 catches for 931 yards and 12 TDs. Also has four interceptions.

Jamaul Cullom, Hilldale: Senior running back-linebacker has rushed for 1,036 yards and scored 20 TDs. Also has scored on two of his seven interceptions. Came up with key sack last week.
