Letter to the Editor: Job well done

The closing of the Drug Warehouse was a sad day for those of us in Jenks. Its prescription-filling process should be the "national standard." I have patronized many pharmacies in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City areas during the last few years of my mother's life - all the big, recognizable names. Not one experience came even close to the quick, accurate service at my Jenks' Drug Warehouse.

I could call in or drop off a prescription and when I went in to pick it up, I told the pharmacy tech that I had a prescription, gave my name, they turned to an alphabetized rack, pulled my prescription, I initialed a form, gave them payment and was finished. Total time to pick up - less than 5 minutes, usually.

To all the personnel in the pharmacy, and the store, overall, I'd like to say, thank you for your years of kind, courteous, friendly and quick service. Jobs well done. We miss you.
