Basketball: NSU women lose

The Northeastern State women's team dropped a 59-57 decision at No. 21 Tarleton State inside Wisdom Gymnasium in Stephensville, Texas. The RiverHawks (3-2) fell behind 20-4, and the TexAnns (2-1) were able to fight off a fierce comeback. Senior Tosha Tyler, who scored 15 points in 25 minutes, led NSU, while senior Taylor Lewis added 11 points in her 100th career game, and Katy Harsen added 10.
