U.S. Sen. James Inhofe has written a book called "The Greatest Hoax: How the Global Warming Conspiracy Threatens Your Future." It was published a few months before Hurricane Sandy put the lie to his goofball ideas by devastating portions of the East Coast. Sandy destroyed entire neighborhoods in New York and New Jersey, and flooded miles of subway tunnels in New York City for the first time in history.
"The New York City subway system is 108 years old," the chairman of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said. "It has never faced a disaster as devastating as what we experienced last night."
If global warming is a hoax, maybe Inhofe should tell these folks about it. I know they'll be relieved to find out. While he's at it, he might also explain that rape doesn't produce pregnancies, evolution is a secular conspiracy theory, and the Earth is flat. Lots more books for him to write before his crayon wears out.
