DeMario Mayfield came off the bench to score 17 points and lead Charlotte to a 72-58 win over Oral Roberts in the semifinals of the Great Alaska Shootout late Friday in Anchorage, Alaska.

Guard Shawn Glover led Oral Roberts (3-2) with 18 points, while Warren Niles had 15 and Steven Roundtree added 12. Center Damen Bell-Holter pulled down 13 rebounds for the Golden Eagles.

"The bottom line is we just didn't play very tough, we didn't have much fight in us," ORU coach Scott Sutton said. "We need to develop some toughness."

Chris Braswell added 11 points for the 49ers (5-0), who faced Northeastern in the championship game late Saturday.
