Cora Evelyn Roden, 99, of Tulsa, went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, November 20, 2012. She was born July 19, 1913, in Union Town, AR, to James R. and Beulah Morton. She was a retired clothing store manager. A member of Calvary Baptist Church, Eastern Star, White Shrine, Amaranth, D.A.R. and U.D.C. She enjoyed shopping, volunteering at the election board, Meals On Wheels, and playing Canasta. Her unconditional love, commitment and dedication to family and friends, her warmth and compassion for everyone she met, and her strength, grace, and poise in any situation have been and will continue to be a pow- erful and positive example for all who knew her. She is survived by daughter Ann Burcham of Broken Arrow, grandchildren Rob Burcham and his wife Ann Marie of Broken Arrow, Becky Pottebaum and her husband Stephen of Kansas City, MO, great-grandchild Alexander Jon “A.J.” Pottebaum of Kansas City, MO. Preceded in death by husband Charles Wesley Roden, brother Richard Morton and sister Della Fears. Service 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2012, Moore’s Eastlawn Chapel, interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Under the direction of Moore’s Eastlawn Chapel 918-622-1155.
