Jerry Zane Ishmael passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012, at the age of 72, in Tulsa OK surrounded by family. He was born March 21, 1940, in Drumright, OK. He is survived by his wife, Gaye Eichler Ishmael of the home; daughters Sheri Waldrop, husband Steve, of Sapulpa; Michelle Barlow, husband Jim, of Allen; Trina Rowland, husband Scott, of Depew, step daughter Tami Austin, of Stuttgart, AR; his grandchildren Andrea Clark, fiancé Eric Gillis, Nathan Waldrop, Katharine Waldrop, David Barlow, James Barlow, Jacob Rowland, Sarah Rowland, Caleb Rowland, Cynthia Rowland, Asa Rowland, Shelly Herrington, of Stuttgart; Kelly Carpenter, of Concord, Matthew Austin of Stuttgart and Savannah Barnes; great- grandchildren Braelynn Clark, Caed Gillis, Hailey Herrington, and Clifton Herrington; sisters Norma Edmonds, husband Jim, of Prescott, AZ, Joyce Richey, husband Robert, of Depew; Margie Beard, husband Perry, of Depew; and brother Donald Ishmael, wife Pat, of Depew; and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Preceded in death by his parents Martin Wilburn Ishmael and Marie Langdon Ishmael, and brothers Nelson Ishmael, Douglas Ishmael and Terry Ishmael. He attended Drumright Public Schools before entering the United State Air Force. He married Helen Benton, there were three daughters born to the union, Sheri, Michelle, and Trina. Throughout his 50 year career in the pipline industry he worked at the following companies, Williams Brothers Engineering as a Welder, Inspector and Manager; Vice President at CRC Evans Pipeline Company; Vice President with Gulf Interstate Field Services Inc. based in Tulsa; and recently retired as Manager of Inspection with Golden Field Services of Tulsa. He loved bull riding, hunting and fishing, camping, golf, Charger football, and family. Friend to many, loved by all, father, husband, and brother. Services will be 2 PM, Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Drumright, OK, followed by graveside service, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Drumright, OK.
