Highs in 40s today, freezing lows overnight forecast for Tulsa area

Cloudy skies and cold temperatures are forecast for Tulsa today.

The National Weather Service forecasts highs in the upper 40s this afternoon, with wind gusts up to 25 mph in Tulsa.

High winds are expected to continue overnight, when lows in the upper 20s are forecast.

Calmer winds are expected Tuesday and Tuesday night, but highs in the 40s and overnight lows in the 20s are again forecast for Tulsa that day.

Highs are expected to rise to the low 60s Wednesday, with overnight lows rising to the 40s. Temperatures for Tulsa are expected to continue rising throughout the week, with highs in the 70s and overnight lows in the 50s forecast for the weekend, according to the weather service.

Tulsa's highest temperature so far this month was 88 degrees on Nov. 2. The lowest was 26 degrees on Nov. 12 and Saturday.

Tulsa has recorded 1.11 inches of rain so far this month, which is 1.29 inches below normal rainfall for this time in November. No rain chances are currently forecast for Tulsa this week.
