Pop-up shopping, 'A Christmas Story' and Winterfest outside BOK

Tuesday: Pop-up Shopping

Shoppers can pick up cupcakes, clothing, books and dog treats when Deco District Pop-up Shopping opens Tuesday.

On Wednesday nights during the event, Santa will be there.

The shops are located inside four buildings in the area of Fifth to Seventh streets and Boston Avenue to Main Street. Hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Wednesday: 'A Christmas Story'

"A Christmas Story" opens at the Tulsa PAC's Liddy Doenges Theatre on Wednesday. This production features all the elements of the 1983 comedy movie, based on stories from Jean Shepherd's book "In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash."

Performances are 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Thursday: Winterfest outside BOK

Winterfest will be at the BOK Center through Jan. 6.

Attractions include a 9,000-square-foot outdoor skating rink, carriage rides, visits from "Segway Santa" and a warming tent set up outside the ice rink. Admission is $5-$10.

Thursday's hours are 4 to 10 p.m.

Friday: 6A championship

Jenks tries for its first Class 6A football championship since 2007 when it faces Norman North at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater.

On Saturday, East Central goes for the Class 5A championship against Carl Albert at 7:30 p.m. at Boone Pickens Stadium.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and are available by going to tulsaworld.com/ossaa
