This is in reference to the Nov. 20 Scene section for holiday shopping, featuring a nice large photo of two women on the runway covered in fur outfits. The headline stated, "Get out and shop."
There is nothing luxurious about any form of animal fur. Any item of fur holds tremendous cruel torture behind it. From the cramped small cages of mink, rabbits and chinchillas to dogs and cats, etc., in which they live out their short life until skinned alive, electrocuted, drowned for their furs. Most furs are imported from China and can be mislabeled as even cat and dog fur. Be cruelty-free and educate yourself on what you're buying. Faux fur is the new luxury.
No fur is cruelty free.
