Basketball: TU’s Woodard honored

Tulsa guard James Woodard was named Conference USA Men’s Basketball
Freshman of the Week after averaging 20.5 points, 9.5
rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in two games last
week.
The Edmond native shot .500 (14-of-28) from the
field, and totaled 41 points, 19 rebounds and seven assists
to lead Tulsa to a 1-1 record.
