Oklahoma State senior Quinn Sharp has been named a first-team
All-America kicker by the American Football Coaches Association, which
released its All-America team Wednesday morning.
Sharp leads the nation's kickers with a scoring average of 11.8 points
per game and he leads the nation in field goals per game. His field goal
percentage of 83.3 ranks third nationally. He is 100 percent (21-of-21)
on field goal attempts inside 30 yards during his career.
For a fourth consecutive season, Sharp is on pace to lead the nation in kickoffs that result in touchbacks.
Oklahoma State holder Wes Harlan and kicker Quinn Sharp score OSU's final unanswered point against Savannah State for a final score of 84-0 in the final minutes of the 4th quarter in Stillwater back in September. MICHAEL WYKE/Tulsa World File
