April 8, 1928 – November 25, 2012 Catherine Patrice Sweeney was born in St. Louis, MO to Katherine Agnes Higgins and Vincent F Sweeney. She passed away on Sunday in Oklahoma City. She attended Loretto Heights College and worked as a secretary and bookkeeper. An enthusiastic bridge player, longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi Int’l, and member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Kitty enjoyed her many friends in the Tulsa area. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Vincent F Sweeney and Robert J Sweeney. She is survived by nieces Karen Wise, Baton Rouge, LA, Lisa Kleinpeter, Cheryl Marques, and nephew John Sweeney, St Francisville, LA, and niece, Dorothy Tennery, Oklahoma City. Service at 11am, November 29, 2012, Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa. This obituary was published in the Tulsa World on 11/28/2012.
