Allen Jerry Bowman, Jr. went to be with his Lord on November 24, 2012. Born on July 16, 1927, in Tulsa, OK to Allen Sr. and Louise Harrington Bowman. Jerry graduated from Tulsa Central High School and attended the University of Tulsa where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He served in the Navy in 1945-46. Married Kathryn Nuhfer January 25, 1947, they had three children. Jerry retired from Equifax as an insurance investigator. Preceded in death by his parents, first wife Kathryn of 55 years, his son Allen III and his second wife Jane of 7 years. Survived by two daughters and sons -in-law, Elaine and Steve Faulkner and Libby and Mike Doughty; 5 grandchildren, Larry Faulkner (Robin), Jeremy Faulkner (Shannon), all of Tulsa, Tom Doughty of Norman, Ok, Lora Doughty Catalano (Eric) of Salem, MA and Beth Doughty of Davis, CA ; also 5 great-grandchildren, Alex Faulkner, Blake Faulkner and Caroline Faulkner; and Colin Faulkner and Grant Faulkner all of Tulsa. Service will be held at First United Methodist Church 11 a.m., Thursday, November 29. 2012.
