Jenks' Jelley among OSU signees: Oklahoma State's men's team has signed Jenks High School's Brendon Jelley, Stratton Nolen and Zach Olsen and all three will join the program for the 2013-14 season.

Jelley was named a Rolex Junior All-American by the American Junior Golf Association this past season. In June, he won the AJGA Junior at Steelwood before logging a second-place finish at the KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior Open.

Jelley finished as the Class 6A runner-up as a sophomore and was the Class 6A regional champion last spring before finishing sixth at the state championship. This fall, he won the Red River Team Challenge.

Nolen, a senior at Austin Westlake High School, won the Texas Class 5A state individual championship in a playoff last spring. This past season also saw him close with a 68 at the PGA Junior Series at The Quarry to emerge victorious.

Olsen, a native of Cordova, Tenn., won the prestigious Junior Invitational at Sage Valley last spring and was named the Tennessee Golf Association Junior Amateur Player of the Year in 2011. He was also chosen as an honorable mention Rolex Junior All-American in 2010 and 2011.

Soccer

OSU goalie Franch honored: Oklahoma State goalkeeper AD Franch has been named to the 2012 TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Season third team.

Franch capped her record-setting career this fall, starting all 20 games for the Cowgirls and recording six shutouts, 79 saves and a 1.07 goals against average. She was named to the All-Big 12 Conference First Team for the fourth time, becoming only the seventh player in Big 12 Conference history to achieve that distinction.

One of the most decorated players in Big 12 and OSU soccer history, Franch is a two-time All-American and a two-time MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist. She owns the OSU career record for shutouts with 38 and led the Big 12 in that category in three of her four seasons. She finished her career with 325 saves to rank second on OSU's all-time list. Franch's 38 shutouts rank sixth all time in NCAA history, and her 8,064:02 minutes in goal rank ninth on the NCAA list.

ORU women's team earns NSCAA academic award: The Oral Roberts women's team was honored for its work in the classroom this season after earning a 3.27 grade point average.

This accomplishment helped the Golden Eagles earn the National Soccer Coaches Association of American Team Academic Award. It is the second time in program history they have received the award, doing so for the first time in 2003.

Of the eligible student-athletes for the Golden Eagles, a total of 13 had a 3.0 or higher prior to the fall semester, including All-Southland selections Jennifer Abernathy, Lauren Parks, Allison Hall, Whitney Booth and Helen Erb.
