KC and the Sunshine Band to play The Joint

KC and the Sunshine Band will perform at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa in Catoosa on Dec. 14. Doors open at 7 p.m., showtime is 8 p.m.
The group has been a force in R&B and funk music, selling more than 100 million albums.
Tickets are $35, available at tulsaworld.com/hardrockcasino, 918-384-7625, or at the venue box office, 770 W. Cherokee St., Catoosa. Guests must be at least age 21.
The first 1,000 people to contribute an unwrapped toy will receive two free tickets to the show. All toys will go to Cherokee children in need. The toy's value must be a minimum of $10 to be eligible for the free tickets.
KC and the Sunshine Band have recorded numerous smash-hit singles, including "Get Down Tonight," "That's the Way (I Like It)," "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty," "I'm Your Boogie Man" and "Keep It Comin' Love."
The band's most recent release is 2007's "Yummy."
