Three people were arrested after a series of shootings early Thursday.

A man was leaving his home near Young Street and Wheeling Avenue about 3 a.m. when three people walked in front of his truck, causing him to slow down, police said.

One of them pointed a handgun at the vehicle and fired. The bullet struck the windshield and then hit the driver's stocking cap, police said.

About 30 minutes later, police were called to Hillcrest Medical Center regarding a shooting victim.

Officers learned that the woman was driving east on Virgin Street at Madison Avenue when three people stood in front of her vehicle and pointed a gun at her. The woman tried to drive around them but was struck by a bullet in both arms, police said.

An hour later, officers were called to the 3600 block of North Hartford Avenue related to circumstances that were similar to the other shootings, police said.

A woman told police that three people in the road pointed a gun at her, but she was able to drive off uninjured.

When officers were responding to her call, they observed three people in the road. An officer made contact and transported the people to the Detective Division to be interviewed. They were then booked into the Tulsa Jail.

Police also recovered a revolver from near one of the suspects.

Arrested on two complaints each of shooting with an intent to kill and pointing a deadly weapon were Reggie Williams, 18; Brittany Sanders, 24; and Demarreion Aldredge, 18. Sanders also was arrested on one complaint of false impersonation.

According to Aldredge's arrest report, police believe that the three were "working in concert" in the shootings.
