A Tulsa man was jailed Friday in a fatal hit-and-run collision in Broken Arrow in October.
Joe Neal Brisco, whose last name appears as Briscoe in jail records, was charged Wednesday with negligent homicide and leaving the scene of a fatal collision, court records show.
Broken Arrow police were called about 10:40 p.m. Oct. 10 to investigate a report that a bicyclist was lying on the side of New Orleans Street (101st Street) between 177th and 193rd east avenues.
Earl Eugene Teske, 71, of Broken Arrow died at the scene.
Police believe that he was riding east when he was struck by Brisco’s 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, which they believe then continued east.
Brisco was arrested just after 11 a.m. His bond is set at $20,000.
