Man in serious condition following apparent domestic shooting

A Tulsa man is in serious condition after he was reportedly shot by his girlfriend during an apparent domestic altercation late Saturday.
Tulsa police said the unidentified man was shot once in the abdomen at a residence in the 200 block of East Newton Place at 10:19 p.m. Saturday.
The woman told investigators she shot her boyfriend in self-defense following a physical altercation, police said.
She was taken into custody and later released without being charged, police said.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a local hospital.
