Winterfest canceled again Sunday due to warm weather

For the second day in row, Winterfest – featuring outdoor skating downtown – was canceled Sunday due to unseasonably warm weather.
The annual holiday event was also canceled Saturday because of the weather.
Highs today and Monday were forecast to be in the mid-70s, and in the mid-to upper-60s Tuesday through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Festival coordinators will continue to monitor ice rink conditions and will post updates on the Winterfest website and Facebook page.
Winterfest, located on Third Street between Denver and Frisco avenues in front of the BOK Center, is set to run until Jan. 6.
