Horse riders gear up for Toys for Tots ride Dec. 15

The eighth annual Toys for Tots ride in north Tulsa is Dec. 15.
About 200 horse riders from more than half a dozen area round-up, and other horse-riding clubs are expected to participate.
Riders start gathering at 10 a.m. at the Cowboys on the Fence Arena at 2822 E. 36th St. North. The ride starts at noon and goes west on 36th Street North, south on Lewis Avenue, west on Apache Street then north on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and will end at the North Mabee Boys and Girls Club at 3001 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Riders are encouraged to bring at least one unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots.
The ride is sponsored by the Tulsa Low Riders, and other clubs participating include Cowboys on the Fence, Gang of Roses and Tulsa Lone Riders.
