Key play: With pressure coming, quarterback Clint Chelf fired a pass that was picked off by Eddie Lackey and returned 26 yards for a Baylor touchdown. It was Lackey's third interception in two games.
Key stat: 17. The 17 points by the Bears are the second-most OSU has given up in a first quarter this season. Texas scored 21 on the Cowboys in the first quarter Sept. 29.
Number to know: 4. The last time OSU trailed Baylor was four years ago, when the Bears led 6-0 early before losing 34-6.

Key play: As Lache Seastrunk was tackled by Daytawion Lowe, Cowboy linebacker Caleb Lavey forced a fumble that was recovered by Tyler Johnson at the OSU 23-yard line. The turnover led to a 15-yard touchdown pass from Clint Chelf to Josh Stewart to cut the Baylor lead to 24-17.
Key stat: 218. In the second quarter, the Bears produced 218 yards of total offense.
Number to know: 15. In the first half, OSU didn't complete a pass for more than than 15 yards.

Key play: Bears kicker Aaron Jones missed a 41-yard field goal wide left, a sigh of relief for OSU after giving up a 73-yard kickoff return by Darius Jones to open the second half. Because Baylor came up empty on the drive, the Cowboys were able to stay in the game.
Key stat: 2. Tight end Blake Jackson dropped a pair of passes in the end zone, one on a double-pass play from Josh Stewart in the third quarter.
Number to know: 0. Through three quarters, Baylor had punted zero times.

Key play: One play after OSU trimmed its deficit to 34-27, the Bears responded with a 76-yard touchdown run from Seastrunk, who appeared to pull a hamstring but still outran Cowboy defenders.
Key stat: 3. Before OSU's obvious onside attempt with 1:33 left, the ball blew off the tee three times, prompting boos from an anxious Baylor crowd. The kick by Teddy Johnson was recovered by the Bears, who ran out the clock.
Number to know: 75. The over-under for the game closed Saturday morning at 88.5 points, the highest in college football history, but the teams put up only 75 points.
