Liberty Bowl tickets on sale

Game tickets to the Liberty Bowl are now on sale.

The Liberty Bowl will be played Dec. 31 at 2:30 p.m. Tulsa's opponent will be decided Sunday.

Tickets are $55 and available at tulsaworld.com/tusports Tickets will be on sale Monday by calling 918-631-4688 or in person at the Reynolds Center.

Travel packages will be announced in the coming days. Fans unable to attend can purchase tickets to send a TU student to the game.

Tulsa will be making its second trip to the Liberty Bowl in school history. The Golden Hurricane played in the 2005 game and defeated Fresno State 31-24.

Tulsa is making its third straight trip to a bowl game and the eighth trip in the past 10 years.
