A Tulsa man has been arrested and charged with manslaughter after a fatal auto-pedestrian accident involving an 11-year-old last year.

Adrian Hardridge Jr. was hospitalized and later died after he was hit by a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria while riding a skateboard on Union Place near 47th Street on the night of Oct. 29, 2011, the Tulsa World previously reported.

Prosecutors charged Abraham McDavid, 31, with first-degree vehicular manslaughter last month, and a warrant was issued for his arrest, court records show.

He was jailed Sunday.

Police said McDavid was driving with a suspended license.

McDavid’s bond, which includes outstanding court costs from a 2006 drug and weapons case, is $18,712.
