Testimony to begin in trial of Oklahoma City man accused of shooting, robbing sheriff's deputy

OKLAHOMA CITY - A jury was selected Monday in the trial of a man accused of shooting and robbing an off-duty sheriff's deputy working security for Cattlemen's Steakhouse.
Christopher Travis Baker, 30, of Oklahoma City, is charged with shooting with intent to kill and robbery with a firearm.
Prosecutors allege Baker ambushed and shot Oklahoma County sheriff's Maj. John Waldenville after he left the restaurant to make a bank deposit just after midnight on May 21, 2011.
Waldenville, 61, was shot in the head and lost his right eye.
