Haskell man killed in single-vehicle wreck

HENRYETTA – A Haskell man died after his pickup crashed into a tree Monday afternoon.
Jesse V. Parker, 70, was pronounced dead at the scene on U.S. 266 near Arbeka Road in Okmulgee County around 3:22 p.m., according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The 2009 Ford F150 Parker was driving left the roadway to the right and traveled about 179 feet before hitting the tree, troopers said.
The cause of the collision was not listed.
