A man was arrested early Monday after he was accused of breaking into south Tulsa business.

James Michael Estrada, 29, was booked into the Tulsa Jail on second-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools complaints, jail records show.

Police were called to the 5500 block of South Peoria Avenue about 11 p.m. for a report that someone had broken into an office building, Officer Jillian Roberson said.

The owner of the business said he observed on surveillance video a man walking into the building carrying a flashlight and contacted police, Roberson said.

Officers extensively searched the building before locating Estrada hiding in the ceiling after removing tiling upon hearing noise from that area, Roberson said.

Estrada was found with a screwdriver, crowbar and flashlight, according to police.

Nothing inside the business was reported stolen, police said.

He is in custody of the Tulsa Jail on $11,000 bond.
