Update: Sand Springs police revise the report for a crash that killed Nita Marie Roden.

A Tulsa woman was killed in a three-car crash in Sand Springs on Thursday morning.

Nita Marie Roden, 43, was driving west on West 41st Street in a 2000 Chevrolet Cobalt when her car veered left into oncoming traffic near 73rd West Avenue around 6:55 a.m., said Mike Carter, assistant police chief for the Sand Springs Police Department.

Roden’s car struck an eastbound car, causing a second eastbound vehicle to crash into the first, he said.

The other drivers’ injuries were not considered to be life threatening.

All drivers were wearing seat belts, police said.
