The state Department of Agriculture reported the following closing prices Tuesday:

U.S. No 1 HARD RED WINTER WHEAT: Mixed, mostly .03-.05 lower. 8.13-8.63.

Davis 8.13, Shattuck 8.26, Lawton 8.37, Frederick 8.38, Alva, Buffalo 8.39, Manchester 8.40, Medford, Ponca City 8.41, Cherokee, Okeene, Perry, Stillwater 8.42, Temple 8.47, Keyes 8.48, Hooker 8.50, Banner, Eldorado, El Reno, Geary, Okarche, Watonga 8.57, Hobart, Weatherford 8.58, Clinton 8.63, Gulf 9.376.

MILO: Mixed, mostly .03-.06 lower. 12.00-13.07.

Weatherford 12.00, Manchester 12.09, Alva, Buffalo, Medford, Ponca City 12.16, Shattuck 12.17, Hooker 13.05, Keyes 13.07.

SOYBEANS: Steady to .02 higher. 13.56-13.98.

CORN: Mixed, mostly .02 to .03 lower. 7.07-7.87.

CANOLA (CWT): N/A: Blackwell, Dacoma, Apache, Hillsdale, Clyde, Enid, El Reno, Yukon n/a.

COTTON; Grade 41, Leaf 4, Staple 34 Cotton in southwestern Oklahoma averaged 67.00 cents per pound.

EGGS: Large 1.51; medium 1.31; small 1.02.

Oklahoma livestock

The state Department of Agriculture reported the following prices Tuesday at the Oklahoma City Stockyards:

Receipts: 9,865; week ago: 6,085; year ago: 7,577.

Compared to last week: Feeder steers 1 to 2 higher. Feeder heifers steady to 2 higher. Demand very good for the limited numbers of feeder cattle. Steer and heifer calves 4 to 6 lower. Demand light to moderate for calves. Weather continues to be the major influence on the calf market. Temperatures in the upper 70s broke long time records over the weekend. This week's forecast slightly cooler but still no moisture included. Quality plain thru attractive. Supply included 58 percent over 600 lbs; 39 percent heifers.

Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: few 320-375 lbs 200-223; 400-450 lbs 171-186, thin fleshed 185-188; 450-500 lbs 160-165, pkg thin fleshed 172, pkg fleshy 159; 500-550 lbs 152.50-166; 550-600 lbs 148-159, pkg fleshy 145; 600-650 lbs 142-149; 650- 700 lbs 136-144; lot 745 lbs 138.50.
