Late shot by Brady lifts TU women past Nebraska-Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. - Kadan Brady hit a 3-pointer with just six seconds remaining to give Tulsa a 49-48 win at Nebraska-Omaha on Tuesday
TU moved to 2-5 on the season, while UNO fell to 5-2 overall.
"Kadan only made two shots all night, but that was one of the biggest shots," TU head coach Matilda Mossman said. "She is a warrior. ... I am just excited for her that she had that opportunity and she made good on it."
Kelsee Grovey had a team-leading 11 points, while Taleya Mayberry and Mariah Turner each added 10 points. Tiffani Couisnard had a team-best nine rebounds, while Brady had three steals, four assists and six rebounds.
UNO was led by Paige Frauendorfer with 17 points. TU hosts Colorado State at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
