Tulsa temperatures slightly higher ahead of weekend rain chances

Tulsa's temperatures are expected to tick up slowly before weekend rain chances and freezing weather forecast.
The National Weather Service forecasts highs in the low to mid-60s through Sunday, which has highs in the upper 40s forecast. Overnight lows are expected to stay in the mid-40s to upper 30s through Sunday night, when freezing lows in the high 20s are forecast.
Tulsa had its lowest temperature of the month on Wednesday, 31 degrees. The highest temperature so far in December was 77 degrees on Saturday, according to the weather service.
In addition, 20-30 percent rain chances are forecast for Saturday and Sunday. New rainfall amounts of less than 0.1 of an inch are expected without a thunderstorm, according to the weather service.
Tulsa's only rainfall recorded so far this month was 0.05 of an inch on Monday.
