Winterfest is celebrating its fifth anniversary with special events scheduled for this weekend.

A fireworks display is set for Saturday evening, following downtown's Holiday Parade of Lights.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, the Holiday Market will be set up in the Grand Lobby of the BOK Center, 200 S. Denver Ave. The market will feature vendors selling seasonal gift items such as candles, jewelry, gourmet foods, wine, clothing and artwork.

On Sunday, Winterfest is offering a free day of skating at its 9,000-square-foot ice rink outside the BOK Center.

High temperatures caused the rink to close several days this week, but BOK Center special events coordinator Brian Smith said Winterfest is on schedule for the weekend's events.

The rink will be open 5 to 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday. Carriage rides will be offered from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and live entertainment will be on the ONEOK Stage from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 1:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Regular skating prices are $5-$10.
