I think that I've discovered something surprising about our new trash service: We have trash service on Monday and recently, in addition to our regular trash and recyclables, we had some bags of green waste by the curb. I noticed late Monday that our green waste had not been picked up and on Tuesday morning it was obvious that our entire neighborhood also had been skipped. I called the refuse department to file a report and was told that someone would come back to pick it up within 72 hours. I also told the agent that everyone in our neighborhood had been missed and was informed that they could only schedule a pickup for those individuals who call for a pickup.
On Wednesday our bags were picked up as well those for one or two others in the area. On Thursday another neighbor's bags were picked up and on Friday there still were some houses that had not had service since they had apparently not called to complain.
I'm appalled that they will come back and pick up my waste but drive by a dozen others that they will have to come back for in the next day or two. Is there anyone working for the city of Tulsa with some common sense?
