Edna Mae Conley, 74, of Tulsa answered God’s call on Monday, December 3, 2012. She was born March 11, 1938, in Eudora, AR to Grady and Edna Lee (Pumphrey) Neal. Edna was raised by Willie Mae and Elijah Johnson and her two sisters. She moved to Tulsa, when she was in the eighth grade. She attended Tulsa Public schools and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School Class of 1957. Edna united with St. Luke Baptist Church in 1957, under the Pastorage of the late Rev. U. J. Wimbush. She met and married Arnett Conley on July 19, 1959 at St. Luke Baptist Church. To their union five children were born, one preceded her in death. She retired as the Church Secretary of St. Luke Baptist Church. Over the years she enjoyed singing with the “Young Matrons Chorus”, “Gospel Echoes”, and the Senior Choir. Her hobbies were cooking, sewing and fishing. She leaves to cherish her memory: Arnett Conley, husband of 53 years, one son Howard Conley (Bartlesville), three daughters Annette Peters (Tulsa), Joann Calloway and husband Nathaniel (Tulsa), Kimberly McIntyre and husband Mark (Goldsboro, NC), six grandchildren Adryane Calloway, Wendell Peters, Jr., Nathaniel Calloway Jr., Ashley Calloway, Jerica Skar and Jalen Skar. Two great-grandchildren Miyah and LaMorie, brother Eddie Neal (Tulsa), sisters Ora Lee Beckhum (Phoenix, AZ), Earlene Simmons, (Tulsa) and Joann Miles (Tulsa). Preceded in death by son James Conley, brother W. G. Neal and sister Sadie Neal. Memorial contributions may be made to the “St. Luke Building Fund”. Visitation 5 - 7 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, at Moore’s Eastlawn Chapel. Service 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 8, 2012, St. Luke Baptist Church, interment Green Acres Cemetery.
