A Tulsa man was charged Friday with committing an armed robbery at a local pharmacy in late November.
William Ross Brawner, 27, was charged in Tulsa County District Court with robbing the Drug Warehouse at 5046 S. Sheridan Road on Nov. 25.
According to Tulsa police, an armed man entered the store just after 1 a.m. and walked to the pharmacy, where he demanded prescription drugs and then fled once he had received them, police said.
During the robbery, the man lifted his shirt to show that a gun was tucked into his waistband, according to a TPD news release.
The robber was described as white and 6 feet tall with a medium build. He wore a black, hooded, Billabong brand sweatshirt.
Brawner was arrested Tuesday afternoon by Tulsa police and booked into Tulsa Jail later in the day, the jail's website shows.
He was still in jail as of late Friday night.
