An Owasso man was jailed Wednesday after police reportedly found counterfeit currency and supplies to make it inside his suitcase.

Bryan Osha Cleary, 23, was arrested at the Super 8 motel, 11525 E. Skelly Drive, after they found him hiding in car, police said in Cleary’s arrest report.

A suitcase containing uncut sheets of counterfeit currency, a printer and paper was found next to the car as well as a black bag containing multicolored sheets of paper consistent with LSD squares, police said.

Cleary allegedly gave police a false name, but officers later identified him using his car’s registration and verified it through other means, the report said.

He remains at the Tulsa Jail, where he is being held on 60 complaints of possessing a forged instrument and single complaints of drug possession and false impersonation. His bond is set at $129,000.

Cleary pleaded guilty to drug manufacturing charges in 2008 and 2009 and possession of drugs and paraphernalia as well as assault and battery in 2007.

He was to remain on probation until 2019.
