A Tulsa man was arrested Friday on accusations he attempted to set fire to his hotel room while under the influence of drugs.
Jamal Evan Frazier, 24, was booked into the Tulsa Jail on first-degree arson, obstruction of justice, resisting arrest and assault and battery complaints, jail records show.
Tulsa police were called to America's Best Inn & Suites, 3509 S. 79th East Ave., about 4:45 p.m. to assist with a fight.
At the hotel, Tulsa firefighters extinguished a fire in a room occupied by Frazier. Police said Frazier appeared to be under the influence of cocaine, according to an arrest report.
Frazier was also reportedly running around the hotel complex, dumping trash and fighting with other guests, the report said.
Police said Frazier allegedly bit one man and attacked him with a fire extinguisher.
As police attempted to take Frazier into custody, he tried to bite and kick the officers, the report said.
He is currently in the Tulsa Jail on $22,220 bond.
