- A Saturday Tulsa World story misspelled the name of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
- A Saturday Tulsa World story failed to identify Carol King, secretary of the Tulsa
chapter of ABATE.
- The name of the Christmas Parade of Lights was changed to Holiday Parade of
Lights in 2009, the last year American Electric Power-Public Service Co. was the
major sponsor. A Saturday story in the Tulsa World misstated when AEP-PSO ended
its sponsorship.
