U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe will be the featured speaker at the Republican Women’s Club of Tulsa luncheon, 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Tulsa Crowne Plaza, 7900 S. Lewis Ave.
Doak to speak: Insurance Commissioner
John Doak will be featured at the
Republican Assembly at 7 p.m.
Tuesday at the LaFortune Park
Clubhouse, 5501 S. Yale Ave.
Fallin aide on chamber panel: Denise Northrup, chief of staff
to Gov. Mary Fallin, will be a
panelist at a U.S. Chamber of
Commerce event Tuesday in
Washington, D.C. The panel will
focus on how states will deal
with budget difficulties caused
by the so-called “fiscal cliff.”
Others on the panel include
former Cabinet member Joseph
Califano and the chiefs of staff
of the governors of Virginia,
Wisconsin and Colorado.
Sullivan honored: Outgoing
1st District Congressman John
Sullivan will be honored by the
Tulsa Republican Club during a
reception at 5:30 p.m. Friday at
the Summit Club, 15 W. Sixth St.
