Child injured last week in fatal crash in Muskogee dies Sunday

A 7-year-old boy thrown from a vehicle in a fatal wreck on the Muskogee Turnpike Wednesday died Sunday, troopers said.

Christopher Crutchfield of Muskogee was ejected five feet after the 1995 Chevrolet flipped six times, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. He was not wearing a seat belt.

Tiffany Borovetz, 30, of Muskogee died at the scene.

Crutchfield; Quentin Chaplin, 23; Dillion Borovetz, 9; and Jordan Borovetz, 13, were transported to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition following the wreck. Clara Chaplin, 42, was taken to St. John Medical Center, where she was admitted in stable condition, troopers said.

Services for Borovetz and Crutchfield are pending with Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors of Muskogee.
