Five women were booked into the Tulsa Jail early Tuesday after a police chase that followed a shoplifting report at a Broken Arrow store.
Shahara Barnes, 29, Juliet Harding, 22, Ceonna Brown, 21, Marie McCullum, 30, and Tries Boyd, 36 were arrested late Monday on grand larceny complaints, Tulsa Jail records show.
Barnes and Harding are also being held on eluding complaints.
Broken Arrow police were called to the Ross Dress for Less in the 3600 block of South Elm Place after employees saw women running out of the store with clothes just after 9 p.m., according to a police report.
Officers then attempted to stop the suspects' vehicle in 5000 block of West New Orleans Street, but it sped away, the report says.
During the pursuit, officers saw the driver and a front-seat passenger switching places, the report states.
After stopping the car in the 7100 block of South Mingo Road in Tulsa, officers discovered stolen merchandise worth nearly $1,500, police said.
Police also believe that the women had stolen from the Dillard's in Woodland Hills Mall, the report indicates.
All five suspects remained in the Tulsa Jail on Tuesday night.
