Basketball: ORU's Bigham honored

Oral Roberts senior Jaci Bigham was named Southland Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, her fifth such career award but first in the Southland Conference.
Bigham scored 17 points and added 11 assists in ORU's 96-34 victory over Evangel on Dec. 5. The McAlester native chipped in a career-best seven steals and notched her fifth career double-double in the victory. Through five weeks, Bigham leads the SLC and ranks second nationally in assists at 7.5 per game.
