This holiday season is all about comfort and style. Add a splash of cute or a nod of sophistication with your loved ones in mind and you're sure to add some Christmas cheer to their day - along with something new to carry them through the season or far beyond it.
Cindy Marshall, one of the owners of The Glass Slipper in Utica Square, recommends a pair of UGG Australia slippers that have been very popular with her clientele this season.
"They're great, shearling-lined, they do have full rubber bottoms," said Marshall, so some people wear them out. "My daughter even wears them as regular shoes."
At The Style Lab on Cherry Street, accessories are big when it comes to shopping for men. Owner Taylor Scheer said he's been selling plenty of watches along with bigger-ticket items such as jeans and shirts, but accessories this season are king.
What Scheer said he wouldn't mind seeing under the Christmas tree this year?
"It would be a nice watch," Scheer said. It's something you've planned for, he said, and something you can be assured the wearer will get great use out of.
